D – Donald – Luke Donald hosted this year’s event at The Grove, but didn’t make the cut despite shooting 70 on Friday.
E – Eagles – There were nine eagles made on the 567-yard par five 18th over the course of the four rounds.
F – Final hole– Noren was five under par on the 18th hole after making an eagle on Thursday and birdies the following three days.
G – The Grove– This week’s venue hosted a European Tour event for the first time since the 2006 WGC-American Express Championship.
H – Hole-in-one – Soomin Lee made an ace at the 13th hole on Friday, earning £10,000 for himself and £10,000 for the Golf Foundation.
I – Inward nine– The 462-yard par four 12th was the toughest hole on the back nine, with 13 double-bogeys or worse made on that hole.
J – Jamieson– Scott Jamieson posted rounds of 68-65-71-73 to move into the top 110 on the Race to Dubai.
K – Kiradech Aphibarnrat – The Thai shot the lowest round on Sunday, a 64 which earned him a share of 12th.
L – Levy– The Frenchman won theinaugural Hero Challengeprior to the start of tournament.
M – McDowell– A share of fourth at The Grove is McDowell’s best result on the European Tour this season.
N – Night golf- Over 2,000 spectators turned up to watch the Hero Challenge at the 18th on Tuesday night.
O – Outward nine– The 472-yard par four third hole was the toughest of the front nine, giving away just 27 birdies.
P – Pressure Putt Showdown– Joost Luiten, snooker player Stephen Hendry and young amateur Aston Anderson won theISPS Handa Pressure Putt Showdown on Wednesday.
Q – Qualification matters– There are just 1,026 points separating Eddie Pepperell in 111th place in the Race to Dubai rankings and Craig Lee in 110th place.
R – Rain delay– Play didn’t start until 10.05 on Sunday due to flooded greens.
S – Sweden – Noren is the third Swede to win three times in a season – Freddie Jacobson (2003) and Johan Edfors (2006) are the others.
T – Tyrrell Hatton – After yesterday’s share of ninth, Hatton has competed in six events on British soil this year without finishing outside the top ten.
U – Up and down– Noren made an excellent up and down on the 18th on Sunday to seal a two-shot victory.
V – Victory– Noren’s win is the 105th Swedish victory on the European Tour.
W – Wiesberger – The Austrian finished runner-up for the second time in four events.
X – X marks the spot- This is the view fans in the 18th grandstand had as Noren tapped in his birdie putt on Sunday to win the tournament.
Y – Youth– Nine year old Amina impressed everybody when she sunk her putt in the Pressure Putt Showdown, after her team members Chris Wood and Kevin Pietersen had both missed from the same distance.
Z – Zero bogeys– Wiesberger went 46 holes without a bogey, starting at the fourth hole on Thursday and finishing at the sixth hole on Sunday.
