Sweden has long been a progressive nation, fostering equal opportunities for men and women, and we are both extremely proud to host this innovative tournament in our home country.
Thanks to the popularity and demand for both men’s and women’s golf, the Scandinavian Mixed was born to celebrate and showcase our sports greatest asset: inclusivity.
We have a diverse field at Vallda Golf & Country Club which includes European Tour and Ladies European Tour winners, Major Champions, Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup stars, as well as winners from various tours around the world.
Our thanks, as ever, go to our event partners across all levels for their commitment and support of golf in Sweden, as well as the team from Vallda, who have welcomed us so warmly this year. We hope the golf course will be a challenging, yet fair and enjoyable test for everyone.
Gothenburg is an incredible city and whilst we are sadly unable to welcome our passionate Swedish fans to witness this historic week of golf in person, we know you will enjoy watching on television and across both Tour’s digital channels.
We hope you are as excited as we are to be part of this special tournament - a world first for golf.
