The Challenge Tour has today announced that the 2025 Road to Mallorca season will begin with four co-sanctioned tournaments with the Sunshine Tour in South Africa.
In January 2025, Sunshine Tour and Challenge Tour members will compete in the SDC Open, MyGolfLife Open hosted by Pecanwood Estate, Cell C Open in association with Honor and NTT DATA Pro Am.
The SDC Open returns as the season-opener, taking place from January 23-26, with Zebula Golf Estate & Spa the host of the event for the fourth successive season. The Challenge Tour then visits Hartbeespoort for the first time in its history for the MyGolfLife Open hosted by Pecanwood Estate at Pecanwood Golf & Country Club from January 30-February 2.
Mikael Lindberg triumphed in a playoff at Royal Cape Golf Club (pictured) in 2023 before going on to seal promotion to the DP World Tour, and the Challenge Tour returns once more to the Mother City for the Cell C Open in association with Honor from February 6-9.
Fancourt Golf Estate in George was the scene for David Ravetto’s maiden Challenge Tour victory in February, before he went on to win on the DP World Tour six months later. Fancourt is back on the schedule for 2025, concluding the South African swing with the NTT DATA Pro Am taking place from February 13-16.

These events provide our members with valuable playing opportunities at a time of the year when it is difficult to stage events in Europe.

The full Challenge Tour schedule for the 2025 Road to Mallorca will be announced in December.
