As the DP World Tour 2025 season gets under way at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, don't miss out on the chance to compete against golf fans from around the world in the DP World Tour's Official Fantasy game.
The DP World Tour heads Down Under this week as Royal Queensland Golf Club plays host to the opening event of the DP World Tour season and the Opening Swing.
Defending event and Opening Swing champion Min Woo Lee returns to see if he can lift the trophy again and is joined by a host of home favourites and DP World Tour regulars.
Cameron Smith is a three-time winner of this event and he is joined by fellow Major Champion Jason Day and DP World Tour winners including Lucas Herbert, Marc Leishman and Brett Rumford.
Add in the likes of David Micheluzzi and Jason Scrivener along with veterans Peter Lonard and John Senden and the local crowds will have plenty to cheer.
In-form Jordan Smith, who just missed out on dual membership with the PGA TOUR last season, also tees it up along with some rookie Challenge Tour and Qualifying School graduates looking to make their mark.
If you have not done so already, you can still sign up to play the official 2025 DP World Tour Fantasy game here and submit your six-man team before round one gets under way on Thursday.
What can I win?
There are plenty of prizes on offer throughout the 2025 season including the Ultimate Prize courtesy of DP World which includes:
- Flights to Dubai for two people
- Accommodation in Dubai for two people
- Private lesson from a top DP World Tour professional on the Earth Course driving range
- Two ball on the Earth Course the day after tournament play finishes

Those that finish second to fifth in the season long competition will also receive a range of DP World Tour Store vouchers. There will also be prizes to be won on a weekly and monthly basis so no matter how well you start or when you sign up to play, you will always have the opportunity to win.
Fantasy Insight: The bookmakers can barely separate Lee, Day and Smith for favouritism this week so it is little surprise that in the early stages of selection, neither can players of our game.
Lee is the most popular pick in 88% of teams, followed by Day at 80% and Smith at 76%. Locals dominate with Cam Davis and Herbert rounding out the top five ahead of Smith and Victor Perez.
Here, we pick out three players in action this week who are worth considering for your Fantasy team selections.
Favourite - Min Woo Lee
The popular Aussie was always likely to be a lot of people's pick this week but there is more than local support and sentiment to back the choice. He is a specialist in both this event and at Royal Queensland, finishing third, fourth and first in his three appearances, with the two latest results coming at this week's layout. He also arrives on home soil off the back of consecutive top-25s against world class fields in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and with just two missed cuts since the Masters, where he also had a top 25. That consistency has him as the second highest-ranked player in the field and the marginal favourite with both our players and in the markets.
Form Horse - Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen
The Dane starts his first full season as a full DP World Tour member this week but he certainly doesn't arrive in Australia with the form or aura of a rookie. Since claiming his third European Challenge Tour win in September to gain instant promotion to the DP World Tour, he has missed one cut by one shot and played every other weekend with a worst result of 50th. All his other results have been top-20s, including a tie for fourth at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship which saw him make a late, albeit ultimately unsuccessful, run for the Play-Offs. Then, for good measure, he finished his season with a tie for second at the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final supported by the R&A. The phrase 'due a win' has rarely been more apt.
Wild Card - Joel Moscatel
Another Challenge Tour graduate starting their first full season on the DP World Tour, Moscatel truly puts the wild in wild card with the feast or famine of his results. He made a slow start to the 2024 Challenge Tour campaign before registering a top ten in the UAE and following that with a win at the Challenge de España. Another top ten followed in Denmark and just over a month later he was a winner once more before going the rest of the season without challenging and finishing tenth on the Road to Mallorca. But a player who can find their form out of nowhere and pull a win out of the bag is a dangerous beast. Couple in a top ten at this event last year after an opening 63 and Moscatel is definitely one to watch.
