Everything you need to know from day three in Germany.
Guido Migliozzi joined Laurie Canter on top, Tom McKibbin was pin-seeking from distance, Jayden Schaper was made to wait and Jannik De Bruyn was sending the home crowds wild on day three of the European Open.
Here is everything you need to know from Saturday at Green eagle Golf Courses.
Tied at the top
Migliozzi birdied three of his last four holes in a bogey-free 67 to join Canter at the top of the leaderboard heading into the final round. The Italian started the day six shots behind overnight leader Canter but six birdies in all moved him to 12 under as he looks for a fourth DP World Tour win. Canter held a four-shot lead early in the round but dropped three shots in as many holes around the turn before showing all of his battling qualities to card a level-par 73 and get back to the summit. Dane Niklas Nørgaard was one shot off the lead after a 71, one ahead of home favourite De Bruyn and Frenchman Tom Vaillant.
How did that not go in?
Everyone was asking that question when McKibbin hit one of the most remarkable shots you'll see. The defending champion was in a fairway bunker 206 yards out at the 13th but his shot out of the sand was bang on line and rolling at a lovely pace before hitting the pin and staying up.
The man himself could barely believe it.
"How did that miss?" 😩@tommckibbin8's immediate reaction to THAT shot...#EO2024 https://t.co/i3QokjuxTr pic.twitter.com/YOSMYoR8ee

Wait for it.........
McKibbin's near miss was even more remarkable after he watched how playing partner Schaper completed the previous hole. It's rare that a 78-foot putt goes in. It's even more rare when it happens like this.
Greenkeepers, look away now
But we don't think Canter damaged a single blade of grass when chipping on the 11th green.
Listen to that roar
De Bruyn has given the home fans plenty to cheer about this week and they were certainly cheering loudly when he holed out from the bunker on the fifth.
