Here is everything you need to know from the weather-affected second day in Denmark.

Hold on to your hats...

Wet and windy conditions greeted the players on day two, with gusts so strong at times that some were unable to stop their hats from blowing away. And the weather had a big impact on scoring too, with the field having to deal with heavy rain and fierce winds before play was eventually suspended at 16:57 local time.

Great Danes

The Danish flag was flying high at Lübker Golf Resort on day two as Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen and first-round leader Højgaard were part of a five-way tie for the lead when the hooter sounded. Like Neergaard-Petersen, Norway's Kristoffer Reitan and Frenchman Adrien Saddier were safely in the clubhouse on five under, while Højgaard and France's Frederic LaCroix must return on Saturday morning to finish their rounds. Defending champion Højgaard had a mixed afternoon, picking up back-to-back birdies early on before three bogeys in four holes saw him surrender the outright lead. He left the course with work to do to avoid another bogey at the 12th on the resumption.

Neergaard-Petersen's fine season continues

Neergaard-Petersen is enjoying a remarkable season on the European Challenge Tour, sitting top of the Rankings after winning twice this year, and his fine form continued on home soil on Friday as he shot a battling 66 to reach five under. He said: "It’s been fun. Great crowds, even when the weather hasn’t been that good - typical Danish summer. But it’s been awesome. Playing some solid golf. Thought today I started making some putts and I was able to make a lot more birdies and put together a good round."

Bjørn wows his adoring crowds

Home hero Thomas Bjørn put on a show for the huge galleries on day two, producing this stunning shot at the ninth to set up a birdie.
