The par 72 course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Snr and is regarded as one of his best pieces of work. The course is nestled among trees, streams, small lakes and gentle undulations with Mount Rosa in the background.
Björn, the previous week’s champion in the Peugeot Open de España, had to content himself with fourth place this time as Sjöland triumphed in the rain-shortened tournament with a 21 under par total of 195.
