Tournament format

Darren Clarke, Shane Lowry, Thorbjorn Olesen, Louis Oosthuizen, Jon Rahm, Padraig Harrington, Graeme McDowell, Danny Willett, Ian Poulter, Thomas Bj0rn, Lucas Bjerregaard, Tommy Fleetwood and defending Champion Russell Knox.

The tournament will be a 72-hole stroke play event.
The field will play one round on each of the first two days, after which the leading 65 players (and those who tie for 65th place) will go forward to the third and fourth rounds.
In the event of a tie for the first place there will be a hole-by-hole play-off.
Prize presentation
The Prize Presentation will be held live on the 18th green upon the conclusion of play (approximately 17:30) on Sunday 7 July.

The winner of the 2018 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open is Russell Knox with a final round of 66 for a 14-under-par total of 274. Russell Knox will be defending his title at this years Dubai Duty Free Irish Open.
