• Becomes the second consecutive first-time winner following Jason Dufner at the US PGA Championship.

• Aged 22 years and 218 years becomes the second youngest winner of the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles, following Adam Scott, who was 22 years and 40 days in 2002.

• Victory comes in his third appearance in the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles.

• This victory beats his previous best performance in the event of tied 43rd in 2012.

• Becomes the fifth player to make the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles their first European Tour victory. He follows Warren Bennett (1999), Paul Casey (2001), Søren Kjeldsen (2003) and Emanuele Canonica (2005).
