• His second European Tour International Schedule victory in his 161st official European Tour event.

• Moves to 526,481 points in the Race to Dubai and moves to the top of the Rankings presented by Rolex.

• His second European Tour victory following the 2013 Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles. This is a gap of three years and 150 days.

• This victory beats his previous best European Tour finishes since his 2013 win of second in the 2014 Volvo China Open and tied second in the 2014 ISPS HANDA Wales Open and the 2014 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

• His second consecutive top three finish of the 2017 season. Was tied third in the 2017 UBS Hong Kong Open and now first in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

• Victory comes in his sixth appearance in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

• This victory beats his previous best finish in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship of tied 19th in 2014.

• This victory beats his previous best finish in a European Tour event in the Middle East of tied seventh in the 2016 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

• Becomes the first English winner of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship since Robert Rock in 2012.

• Becomes the fourth English victory in the history of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. They are: Paul Casey (2007 and 2009), Robert Rock (2012) and Tommy Fleetwood (2017).

• Began the final day one stroke behind 54-hole leader Tyrrell Hatton. Is the second winner of the 2017 European Tour season to make a final round comeback. Harold Varner III was the first this season, making up two shots at the Australian PGA Championship.

• Becomes the second consecutive English winner on the European Tour, following Graeme Storm (BMW SA Open hosted by City of Ekurhuleni).

• With Tommy Fleetwood’s victory following on from Graeme Storm’s seven days ago, becomes the first time England have won consecutive European Tour events since Chris Wood (2016 BMW PGA Championship) and Matthew Fitzpatrick (2016 Nordea Masters).

• Becomes the 311th English victory in European Tour history.

• Gains a European Tour exemption until the end of the 2019 season.

• Gains his largest European Tour prize of €421,139.

• Becomes the third former Challenge Tour player to win on the European Tour in the 2017 season. They are: Brandon Stone (Alfred Dunhill Championship), Graeme Storm (BMW SA Open hosted by City of Ekurhuleni) and Tommy Fleetwood (Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship).

• Becomes the 394th European Tour victory by a former Challenge Tour player.
