• His seventh European Tour International Schedule victory in his 310th European Tour event.

• Moves to 1,477,477 points in The Race to Dubai.

• Could move to just outside the top 30 of the Official World Golf Ranking, from 44th.

• His first European Tour victory since the 2014 Nordea Masters.

• This victory beats his previous best 2015 European Tour performances of tied second in the True Thailand Classic presented by Black Mountain and BMW PGA Championship.

• His second consecutive European Tour season with a victory. The only previous time he achieved this feat on The European Tour was in 2004 and 2005 when he won the Malaysian Open in both years.

• Victory comes in his seventh appearance in the Porsche European Open.

• This victory beats his previous best finish in the Porsche European Open of tied tenth on his debut in 2004.

• Aged 45 years and 323 days becomes the oldest winner of the Porsche European Open. This beats the previous record of Colin Montgomerie in 2007, who was 44 years and 15 days.

• Aged 45 years and 323 days is the oldest winner on The European Tour since Miguel Angel Jiménez, who was 50 years and 133 days at the 2014 Open de España.

• The second player aged 40 or over to win on The European Tour in 2015. He follows Søren Kjeldsen, who was 40 years and 14 days when the Dane won the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open Hosted by the Rory Foundation.

• His third European Tour victory since turning 40 in November 2009. They are: 2012 ISPS Handa Wales Open, 2014 Nordea Masters and 2015 Porsche European Open.

• Only the second Asian player to win the Porsche European Open. He follows Isao Aoki, who won at Sunningdale in 1983.

• Becomes the 29th different player to win the Porsche European Open since the event was first played in 1978.

• Thailand becomes the 14th different country to win the Porsche European Open.

• Becomes the first Asian player to win a European Tour event in Continental Europe since Jaidee himself won the 2014 Nordea Masters in Sweden.

• The 12thThai victory in European Tour history.

• The third Thai victory on The European Tour in 2015. They are Kiradech Aphibarnrat (Volvo China Open Saltire Energy Paul Lawrie Match Play) and Thongchai Jaidee (Porsche European Open).

• The first time Thailand have recorded three European Tour victories in the same season.

• Only the second time two different Thai players have won on The European Tour in the same season. The first season was 2005, when Jaidee himself (Malaysian Open) and Thaworn Wiratchant (Indonesian Open), both triumphed.
