• Victory comes in his sixth appearance in the Madeira Islands Open – Portugal – BPI.

• This victory beats his previous best performance in the Madeira Islands Open – Portugal – BPI of tied fifth in 2013.

• Becomes the second Finnish player to win on The European Tour, following Mikko Ilonen.

• Since the event began in 1993 becomes the 12th player to claim their maiden European Tour victory here.
