• His first European Tour International Schedule victory in his 45th European Tour event.

• Could move to as high as fifth in the Official World Golf Ranking from ninth.

• This victory beats his previous best European Tour performances of tied second in the 2011 WGC – Bridgestone Invitational, 2014 U.S. Open Championship and 2014 Open Championship.

• Becomes the eighth first-time winner of the 2015 European Tour season. They are: Andy Sullivan (South African Open Championship Hosted by the City of Ekurhuleni), Gary Stal (Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship), Anirban Lahiri (Maybank Malaysian Open), Trevor Fisher Jnr (Africa Open), Jordan Spieth (Masters Tournament), Wu Ashun (Volvo China Open), Byeong-hun An (BMW PGA Championship) and Rickie Fowler (Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open).

• This victory beats his previous best performance in a regular European Tour event of tied eighth in the 2014 Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open.

• This victory beats his previous best 2015 European Tour performance of tied ninth in the WGC – Cadillac Match Play.

• This victory beats his previous best 2015 European Tour stroke play performance of tied 12th in the WGC – Cadillac Championship and Masters Tournament.

• Victory comes in his second appearance in the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open.

• Victory beats his previous best performance in the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open of tied eighth in 2014.

• The first American winner of the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open since Phil Mickelson in 2013.

• Follows Michael Allen (1989), Tom Lehman (1997) and Phil Mickelson (2013) as American winners of the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open.

• The first time four different American players have won the same official regular European Tour event.  (Five different American players won the Trophée Lancôme, but only one since the event became official in 1982).

• Becomes the 30th different winner of the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open.

• Follows Barry Lane (1988), Michael Allen (1989), Peter O’Malley (1992), Jesper Parnevik (1993), Wayne Riley (1995), Thomas Bjørn (1996) and Edoardo Molinari (2010), as players making the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open their first European Tour victory.

• Trailed Daniel Brooks, the overnight leader by two strokes. Becomes the 12th winner this season to make up a final round deficit.

• Becomes the 202nd American victory in European Tour history.

• Becomes the 86th different American to win on The European Tour.

• Becomes the fourth American victory on the 2015 European Tour. They are: Dustin Johnson (WGC – Cadillac Championship), Jordan Spieth (Masters Tournament and U.S. Open Championship) and Rickie Fowler (Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open).
