Richie Ramsay waves to the crowd as he wins in Morocco

• His third European Tour International Schedule victory in his 178th European Tour event.

• Moves 250,000 points in The Race to Dubai.

• Moved to 77th of the Official World Golf Ranking from 128th.

• His first European Tour victory since the 2012 Omega European Masters. This is a gap of two years and 197 days.

• Has played in 55 European Tour events since his last victory.

• This victory beats his previous best 2015 performance of tied 73rd in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship. (Has not made any points at all from his five events so far this season).

• Victory comes in his sixth appearance in the Trophée Hassan II.

• This victory beats his previous best performance in this event of tied seventh in 2011. (Has also been placed in the top 20 on a further three occasions).

• The first Scot to win the Trophée Hassan II since the event became part of The European Tour in 2010.

• Has now won his three European Tour events in different countries; South Africa, Switzerland and now Morocco.

• The first Scot to win on The European Tour International Schedule this season.

• The first Scot to win on The European Tour since Marc Warren at the 2014 Made in Denmark.

• This victory continues Scotland’s run of consecutive winning years on The European to six, dating back to the 2010 season.

• The 135th Scottish victory in European Tour history.

• The second of his three European Tour victories where he has been leading going into the final round. The first was the 2012 Omega European Masters.

• Just the fifth time this season the 54 hole leader has gone onto win. They are: Branden Grace (Alfred Dunhill Championship and Commercial Bank Qatar Masters), Rory McIlroy (Omega Dubai Desert Classic), Trevor Fisher Jnr (Africa Open) and Richie Ramsay (Trophée Hassan II).

• Gains a European Tour exemption until the end of 2017.

• Gains his fifth win as a professional.

• The fourth European Tour victory on the 2015 European Tour by a former Challenge Tour player. They are: Branden Grace (Alfred Dunhill Championship and Commercial Bank Qatar Masters) and Gary Stal (Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship) and Richie Ramsay (Trophée Hassan II)

• The 358th European Tour victory by a former Challenge Tour player.
