• Victory comes in his second appearance in the Nordea Masters. He missed the cut on his debut in the event in 2015.
• At aged 21 years and 278 days becomes the second youngest Englishman to record his first two European Tour victories. The youngest is Sir Nick Faldo, he was 20 years and 315 days when he won the 1978 Colgate PGA Championship, the date of his second win. (His first win was the 1977 Skol Lager Individual aged 20 years and 30 days).
• Aged 21 years and 278 days becomes the youngest winner of the Nordea Masters, beating the previous record of Graeme McDowell, who was 23 years and five days in 2002.
• Becomes the seventh English victory in the Nordea Masters. They are: Sir Nick Faldo (1992), Peter Baker (1993), Lee Westwood (1996, 2000 and 2012), Luke Donald (2004) and Matthew Fitzpatrick (2016).
• England’s seventh victory in the Nordea Masters matches Sweden’s total for the most by a single country.

• Maintains his 100 per cent record of winning both his European Tour titles when leading going into the final round. He shared the lead with Kiradech Aphibarnrat at the 2015 British Masters supported by Sky Sports, the duo led by one shot. Led by five here at the Nordea Masters, the biggest 54 hole lead of the 2016 European Tour season to date.
• Aged 21 years and 278 days means his victory is the sixth by a player aged 21 years or under on the 2016 European Tour.
• The second consecutive English winner on the European Tour, following Chris Wood at the BMW PGA Championship.
• The first time England have won consecutive European Tour events since Danny Willett at the 2016 Masters Tournament and Andrew Johnston, 2016 Real Club Valderrama Open de España hosted by the Sergio Garcia Foundation.
