  • This victory beats his previous best 2014 performance of tied seventh in the BMW PGA Championship.
  • Victory comes in his third appearance in the BMW Masters.

  • His five shots is the biggest final round comeback to win the BMW Masters, beating the one stroke of Gonzalo Fernandez-Castaño in 2013.
  • Wins his second European Tour play-off, following the 2004 dunhill championship.
