• His first European Tour International Schedule victory in his 35th European Tour event.

• Could move into the top 25 of the Official World Golf Ranking from 47th.

• This victory beats his previous best European Tour performance of tied second in The 144th Open Championship, back in July of this year, losing out in a play-off to Zach Johnson.

• The second first-time winner of the 2016 European Tour season. They are Nathan Holman (Australian PGA Championship) and Marc Leishman (Nedbank Golf Challenge).

• Victory comes in his debut in the Nedbank Golf Challenge.

• Joins Robert Allenby (2009) to become only the second Australian to win the Nedbank Golf Challenge.

• Becomes the 24th different winner of the Nedbank Golf Challenge, dating back to the first year the event was played in 1981.

• With Nathan Holman winning the Australian PGA Championship earlier today, becomes the first time since Brett Rumford won the 2013 Ballantine’s Championship and 2013 Volvo China Open, that Australia have won consecutive European Tour events.

• With Nathan Holman winning the Australian PGA Championship earlier today, is the first time two different Australians’ have won consecutive European Tour events since Craig Parry and Ian Baker-Finch won the 1991 Scottish Open and1991 Open Championship respectively.

• With Nathan Holman winning the Australian PGA Championship earlier today, is the first time in European Tour history that two first-time Australian winners have won consecutive European Tour events.

• Becomes the 120th Australian victory in European Tour history.

• Becomes the 41st different Australian to win in European Tour history.

• Becomes the first Australian to win a European Tour event in South Africa since Adam Scott won the 2001 Alfred Dunhill Championship.

• His seventh victory as a professional.
