• The eighth win this season by a player leading or sharing the lead going into the final round. (Of those eight, four of them have been in the last four European Tour events. They are: George Coetzee (Tshwane Open), Richie Ramsay (Trophée Hassan II), Jordan Spieth (Masters Tournament) and Kiradech Aphibarnrat (Shenzhen International).
• The first Thai winner on The European Tour since Thongchai Jaidee, who won the 2014 Nordea Masters.

• His second European Tour victory comes aged 25 years and 270 days, the youngest Thai player to record multiple victories.
• Becomes the first player since Andrew Dodt (2010 Avantha Masters and 2015 True Thailand Classic presented by Black Mountain), to win their first two European Tour victories on Asian soil.
• Becomes the seventh different Asian player to record multiple European Tour victories.
• Aged 25 years and 270 days becomes the youngest Asian player to record multiple European Tour victories. This beats the existing record of Anirban Lahiri, who was 27 years and 238 days, when he won his second title at the 2015 Hero Indian Open.
