• Aged 21 years and 193 days becomes the third youngest South African winner in European Tour history, after Charl Schwartzel, who was 20 years and 103 days at the 2005 Alfred Dunhill Championship, played in December 2004 and Anton Haig, 20 years and 300 days in the 2007b Johnnie Walker Classic.
Aged 21 years and 193 days become the youngest winner of the Joburg Open, beating the previous record of Branden Grace, who was 23 years and 240 days in 2012
• Victory comes in his second appearance in the Joburg Open.
• This victory beats his previous best Joburg Open performance of tied 24th in 2015.
• Joins Ariel Canete (2007), Branden Grace (2012) and George Coeetze (2014), as players to make the Joburg Open their debut European Tour victory.

• Gains his largest European Tour prize of €153,809.
