George Coetzee - celebrates holeing the winning putt at the Tshwane Open

• His second European Tour International Schedule victory in his 136th European Tour event.

• Moves to 371,155 points in The Race to Dubai.

• Moves to 67th in the Official World Golf Ranking, from 87th.

• His second European Tour victory, following the 2014 Joburg Open.

• This victory beats his previous best 2015 European Tour performance of 12th in the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

• Becomes the second consecutive South African winner on The European Tour, following Trevor Fisher Jnr at the Africa Open.

• Is attached to Pretoria Country Club, the venue for the Tshwane Open. Becomes the first player on The European Tour to win at the course where a player is currently attached to since, Sergio Garcia at the 2008 CASTELLO MASTERS Costa Azahar, at the Club de Golf del Mediterraneo.

• Victory comes in his second appearance in the Tshwane Open.

• This victory beats his previous best performance in the Tshwane Open of tied 50th in 2014.

• The second South African win from the three Tshwane Opens,’ following Dawie Van Der Walt in 2013.

• Becomes the first South African player since Dawie Van Der Walt to win their first two European Tour events on home soil, following his 2014 Joburg Open triumph. (Van Der Walt won the 2013 Tshwane Open and 2014 Nelson Mandela Championship presented by ISPS Handa).

• Only the fifth time this season that the 54 hole leader has gone onto win, having shared the lead with five other players. The winners are: Branden Grace (Alfred Dunhill Championship, Commercial Bank Qatar Masters), Rory McIlroy (Omega Dubai Desert Classic), Trevor Fisher Jnr (Africa Open) and George Coetzee (Tshwane Open).

• The 130th South African victory in European Tour history.

• The fourth South African victory of the 2015 season. They are: Branden Grace (Alfred Dunhill Championship and Commercial Bank Qatar Masters), Trevor Fisher Jnr (Africa Open) and George Coetzee (Tshwane Open). (South Africa now have more wins than any other country so far this season).

• Following Trevor Fisher Jnr at the Africa Open last week, becomes the first time two different South Africans have won on The European Tour in consecutive weeks since, George Coetzee (2014 Joburg Open) and Thomas Aiken (2014 Africa Open).

• Becomes the ninth South African to record multiple European Tour titles co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour.

• Gains a European Tour exemption until the end of the 2016 season.

• Gains his largest European Tour prize of €237,750.

• Gains his seventh professional victory and all have been in his native South Africa.
