* His first European Tour International Schedule victory in his seventh European Tour event.

* This victory beats his best previous European Tour performance of tied 35th in the 2015 UBS Hong Kong Open.

* The ninth first-time winner of the season. They are: Nathan Holman (Australian PGA Championship), Marc Leishman (Nedbank Golf Challenge), Brandon Stone (BMW SA Open hosted by City of Ekurhuleni), Haydn Porteous (Joburg Open), Andrew Johnston (Real Club Valderrama Open de España hosted by the Sergio Garcia Foundation), Soomin Lee (Shenzhen International), Li Hao-tong (Volvo China Open), Jeunghun Wang (Trophée Hassan II) and Chan Shih-chang (King’s Cup presented by PTT Group).

* Victory comes in his first European Tour event of the 2016 season.

* Becomes the third player from Chinese Taipei to win on the European Tour. He follows: Yeh Wei-tze (2000 Benson and Hedges Malaysian Open) and Lin Wen-tang (2009 UBS Hong Kong Open (played Nov 2008).

* Becomes the 25th different Asian player to win in European Tour history.

* Extends the record number of Asian victories in a single European Tour season to eight.

* Extends the record number of different Asian to players to win in a single European Tour season to seven. They are: SSP Chawarasia (Hero Indian Open), Soomin Lee (Shenzhen International), Li Haotong (Volvo China Open), Jeunghun Wang (Trophée Hassan II and AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open), Ashun Wu (Lyoness Open powered by Sporthlife Cashback Card), Thongchai Jaidee (100th Open de France) and Chang Shih-chang (King’s Cup presented by PTT Group).
