• His first European Tour International Schedule victory in his 27th European Tour event.

• Moves to 2,412,936 points in The Race to Dubai.

• Could move to inside the top 35 of the Official World Golf Ranking from 61st.

• This victory beats his previous best European Tour performances of tied third in the 2014 Omega Dubai Desert Classic and 2014 Omega European Masters.

• Becomes the 12th first-time winner of the 2014 season. They are: Morten Ørum Madsen (South African Open Championship hosted by the City of Ekurhuleni), George Coetzee (Joburg Open), Jason Day (WGC – Accenture Match Play Championship), Patrick Reed (WGC – Cadillac Championship), Marco Crespi (NH Collection Open), Alexander Levy (Volvo China Open), Daniel Brooks (Madeira Islands Open – Portugal – BPI), Fabrizio Zanotti (BMW International Open), David Lipsky (Omega European Masters), Oliver Wilson (Alfred Dunhill Links Championship), Scott Hend (Hong Kong Open, Oct 14) and Brooks Koepka (Turkish Airlines Open by the Ministry of Youth and Sports).

• The third American first-time winner this season, following Patrick Reed (WGC – Cadillac Championship) and David Lipsky (Omega European Masters).

• Victory comes in his first appearance in the Turkish Airlines Open by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

• The second consecutive year the Turkish Airlines Open has witnessed a first-time winner, following Victor Dubuisson, 12 months ago.

• Becomes the third player to make one of The European Tour’s Final Series events their first European Tour victory, following Dustin Johnson (2013 WGC – HSBC Champions) and Victor Dubuisson (2013 Turkish Airlines Open).

• The fourth player this season to win a European Tour event aged 24 or younger. They are: Patrick Reed (23 – WGC – Cadillac Championship), Alexander Levy (23 – Volvo China Open and 24 – Portugal Masters), Thorbjørn Olesen (24 - ISPS HANDA Perth International) and Brooks Koepka (24 - Turkish Airlines Open by the Ministry of Youth and Sports).

• Becomes the 198th American victory in European Tour history.

• Becomes the 84th different American to win on The European Tour.

• Becomes the fifth American victory on The European Tour in 2014. They are: Patrick Reed (WGC – Cadillac Championship), Bubba Watson (Masters Tournament and WGC – HSBC Champions), David Lipsky (Omega European Masters) and Brooks Koepka (Turkish Airlines Open by the Ministry of Youth and Sports).

• The first 2013 Challenge Tour graduate to win on The European Tour in the 2014 season.

• The first Challenge Tour graduate to win a European Tour event since Ricardo Santos at the 2012 Madeira Islands Open – Portugal.
