• Becomes the fourth different Swede to enter the top ten of the Official World Golf Ranking, should he achieve the feat. The other Swedes are Henrik Stenson, Robert Karlsson and Jesper Parnevik.

• His fourth victory of the 2016 European Tour season. His wins are: Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, Omega European Masters, British Masters supported by Sky Sports and Nedbank Golf Challenge hosted by Gary Player.

• Becomes the first four-time winner of the 2016 European Tour season.

• Becomes the first Swede in European Tour history to win four times in a single season.

• The first four-time winner on the European Tour since Rory McIlroy won four times in the 2014 season.

• Joins Seve Ballesteros (1978, 85, 86, 88), Ernie Els (2003), Sir Nick Faldo (1983, 92), Miguel Angel Jiménez (2004), Martin Kaymer (2010), Bernhard Langer (1984, 97), Colin Montgomerie (1999), Lee Westwood (1998, 2000),Tiger Woods (1999, 2000, 01, 02, 05, 06), Ian Woosnam (1987, 90, 96) and Rory McIlroy (2014), as players to win four or more official events in the same European Tour season.

• To highlight his amazing run of recent form. It took him 214 events to win his first four European Tour titles. The next four have come from a mere 11 appearances.

• His final round of 63 (-9) is the lowest final round by a winner in relation to par beating the 63 (-8) of Henrik Stenson (The 145th Open Championship), Joost Luiten (KLM Open) and 64 (-8) by Li Haotong (Volvo China Open).

• His six shot winning margin equals the largest since the event became part of the European Tour, set by Marc Leishman in December 2015 (part of the 2016 season).

• The 18th win this season by a player making up a final round deficit.

• Only the second of his eight European Tour victories where he has made up a final round deficit. The only previous occasion was the 2016 Omega European Masters, making up one shot.

• Gains his ninth win as a professional worldwide.
