• His third European Tour International Schedule victory in his 131st European Tour event.

• Moves to €912,563 in The Race to Dubai.

• Moves into the top 70 of the Official World Golf Ranking from 92nd.

• His second European Tour victory of the 2011 season, following the Saab Wales Open.

• First time in his European Tour career his has recorded multiple victories in the same season.

• Noren’s win is the sixth win by a Swede in the history of the Nordea Masters. He follows: Jesper Parnevik (1995 and 1998), Joakim Haeggman (1997), Peter Hanson (2008) and Richard S Johnson (2010). The Nordea Masters is now the European Tour event Sweden has won the most times.

• Becomes the fourth multiple winner of the season, following Luke Donald (WGC – Accenture Match Play Championship, BMW PGA Championship and Barclays Scottish Open), Charl Schwartzel (Joburg Open and Masters Tournament) and Darren Clarke (Iberdrola Open and The 140th Open Championship).

• This victory beats his previous best finish in the Nordea Masters of tied 18th in 2005.

• Becomes the fourth wire-to-wire winner of the 2011 season. He follows: Luke Donald (BMW PGA Championship), Robert Rock (BMW Italian Open presented by CartaSi) and Rory McIlroy (US Open Championship).

• This victory is the first wire-to-wire win of his European Tour career.

• Follows Peter Baker (1993), Lee Westwood (2000) and Peter Hanson (2008) as players to win the Nordea Masters wire-to-wire.

• Maintains his record of winning all his three of his European Tour tournaments when leading going into the final round. Firstly at the 2009 Omega European Masters and then the 2011 Saab Wales Open.

• Noren has now claimed both of Sweden’s victories in this season on The European Tour.

• The 91st Swedish victory on The European Tour.

• Fourth win as a professional worldwide.
