• His fifth European Tour International Schedule victory in his 216th European Tour event.

• This victory beats his previous best 2016 European Tour finish of tied sixth in the Real Club Valderrama Open de España Hosted by the Sergio Garcia Foundation.

• Continues with his excellent mid-season form. This victory is his fourth top ten finish in his last eight appearances. Was tied sixth in the Real Club Valderrama Open de España Hosted by the Sergio Garcia Foundation, tied ninth in the Volvo China Open, tied eight in last week’s 100th Open de France and now first in the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open.

• Victory comes in his eighth appearance in the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open.
