• His tenth European Tour International Schedule victory in his 193rd European Tour event.

• Could move to sixth in the Official World Golf Ranking, from ninth.

• His first European Tour victory since the 2013 Masters Tournament.

• This victory beats his previous best European Tour finish since Augusta in 2013 of tied third in The 142nd Open Championship, also in 2013.

• Claims his second World Golf Championship title in his 46th WGC career appearance.

• His first WGC victory since the 2011 WGC – Bridgestone Invitational.

• Victory comes in his 15th career appearance in the WGC – Cadillac Championship. (Has played in every one since 2002).

• This victory beats his previous best WGC – Cadillac Championship finish of tied second in 2006. (Was also tied third in 2013, tied fourth in 2014, tied sixth in 2011 and tied ninth in 2008).

• His 15th appearance creates a WGC record for the most appearances in the same WGC event before winning that event for the first time.

• Becomes the tenth player to win multiple WGC titles. They are: Tiger Woods, Geoff Ogilvy, Darren Clarke, Ernie Els, Dustin Johnson, Hunter Mahan, Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Ian Poulter and now Adam Scott.

• The seventh Australian victory in WGC history. Geoff Ogilvy has three, two for Adam Scott and one each for Jason Day and Craig Parry.

• The fourth player this season to make up a final round deficit and win.

• His three shot final round winning comeback matches the largest of the 2016 season to date, following Marcus Fraser at the Maybank Championship Malaysia.

• Becomes the second Australian to win the WGC – Cadillac Championship, following Geoff Ogilvy in 2008.

• Becomes the 123rd Australian victory in European Tour history.

• The fourth Australian victory of the 2016 European Tour season. They are: Nathan Holman (Australian PGA Championship), Marc Leishman (Nedbank Golf Challenge), Marcus Fraser (Maybank Championship Malaysia) and Adam Scott (WGC -Cadillac Championship).

• The first time there has been four different Australian winners on The European Tour since 2008, when four triumphed that year. They were: Aaron Baddeley (MasterCard Masters), Adam Scott (Commercial Bank Qatar Masters), Geoff Ogilvy (WGC – CA Championship) and Scott Strange (Celtic Manor Wales Open).

• Becomes the third Australian to win ten or more European Tour titles, following Greg Norman (14) and Graham Marsh (ten).

• Gains his 28th victory as a professional and second consecutive triumph following the Honda Classic seven days ago.
