General
The promoter for the purpose of this prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) is PGA European Tour, a company limited by guarantee (registered no. 1867610) whose registered office is at Wentworth Drive, Virginia Water, Surrey GU25 4LX (the “Tour”, “we” or “us”).
The Prize Draw is governed by: (i) the terms and conditions set out below; and (ii) the European Tour Competition – Terms and Conditions, a copy of which can be foundhere(together, the “Terms and Conditions”). By entering into the Prize Draw, in accordance with the mechanics set out below, you are deemed to have accepted and will be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
How to Enter
To be entered into the Prize Draw you must, between midday on 3 October 2018 and midday on 18 October 2018 (the “Entry Period”): (i) follow @Challenge_Tour on Twitter; and (ii) retweet the Challenge Tour tweet announcing the Prize Draw.
Entries received outside of the Entry Period will not be entered into the Prize Draw.
Eligibility
The Prize Draw is open only to legal residents of the UK who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, associates, officers, directors and contractors of the Tour, or persons residing in the same household, are not eligible to participate in or to win the Prize Draw.
Entrants must be available to travel to Ras Al Khaimah between Sunday 28 October 2018 and Sunday 4 November 2018. Flights to and from Dubai International Airport must be taken during this week, however alternative dates within the time period may be possible subject to availability.
Prize
The winner of the Prize Draw, chosen in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, will, subject to the day on which they choose to arrive (if you arrive after 28 October you may miss out on some of the below), receive one prize (the “Prize”) consisting of:
(a) return economy flights for two adults to Dubai International Airport. Subject to availability, flights can depart and return on any days during 28 October 2018 and 4 November 2018 as the Winner shall choose (although note that depending on your arrival day, you may miss certain elements of the Prize);
(b) transfers from and to Dubai International Airport;
(c) accommodation in Ras Al Khaimah, in either a twin or double room in such hotel as we shall specify on such number of nights as you shall be in Ras Al Khaimah (breakfast shall be included);
(d) two tickets for the Jebel Jais zipline (including transfers to and from the Al Hamra Golf Club), on such day as we shall specify;
(e) subject to approval from us as to the Winner’s (and their guest’s) standard of golf, two places in the Ras Al Khaimah Challenge Tour Grand Final Pro-Am on Monday October 29 (golf clubs can be provided);
(f) an invite for two the Official Gala Dinner to be held on Monday 29 October 2018;
(g) on-course spectator access for each day of the Ras Al Khaimah Challenge Tour Grand Final (held between 31 October 2018 and 3 November 2018 (inclusive)); and
(h) lunch for two at the Al Hamra Golf Club on each day of the Ras Al Khaimah Challenge Tour Grand Final.
Any other expenses incurred in connection with the use of the Prize, including without limitation travel, meals, tips, gratuities, fees, souvenirs, telephone calls, medical expenses, and other personal expenses, are the responsibility of the Winner and are not included.
Selection of the Winner
There will be only one Winner. The Winner will be chosen by us, after midday on 18 October 2018, at random from all valid entries. The Winner will be notified of their win, on Twitter, by 5pm on the same day. If the Winner does not respond to us by 5pm on 19 October 2018 or if the Winner is not eligible to claim the Prize, or any element of it, we reserve the right to, in our sole discretion, either withdraw the Prize, or a particular element, from the Winner or to offer the Prize, or a particular element, to another entrant. In such circumstances, the relevant original Winner will have no right to insist on receiving the Prize.
Conflict in terms
Incorporated into these terms and conditions are the Tour’s general terms and conditions in respect of competitions, a copy of which can be foundhere. You should read these before entering.
To the extent there is any conflict between the terms set out above and the European Tour Competition – Terms and Conditions, the terms set out above shall prevail.
