WGC-HSBC Champions returns to Sheshan International

Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai will once again host the WGC-HSBC Champions when the tournament returns from October 27-30, 2016.

The venue has been the event’s home for ten editions since the inaugural tournament in 2005, and has consistently won praise from players and officials for its immaculate condition, challenging design and excellent facilities.

David Howell, who won the inaugural HSBC Champions in 2005, and most recently played in the WGC-HSBC Champions in 2015, said: “The course has grown in reputation in tandem with the tournament. It is one of the best courses we play in terms of every aspect from its world-class condition to its fair but challenging set up.

“It is always immaculately prepared and the finishing stretch has provided so much drama over the years that I know everyone will be really pleased to hear that we will be returning to Sheshan.”
