Lee Westwood continued to lead as the third round of the Nordea Masters unfolded at Bro Hof Slott.
The Englishman held a three-stroke advantage overnight, although his compatriot Richard Bland reduced that to two over the opening stretch in Stockholm.
World Number Three Westwood birdied the first and fourth, with a bogey in between at the second. He then missed a five foot chance for another gain at the fifth, but did well to save par from ten feet two holes later.
At one under through seven holes the 39 year old was 13 under, two ahead of first-round leader Bland.
Seeking his first European Tour win in his 275th event, Bland turned in a brilliant four under par 32.
Another Englishman, Ross Fisher, and home favourite Peter Hanson were tied for third on ten under par.
Earlier in the day Australia’s Marcus Fraser showed what was possible with a seven under par 65 that catapulted him 52 to inside the top ten on nine under.
Fisher reduced Westwood’s lead to one with a run of four birdies in five holes from the 12th, but Westwood responded with birdies at the 11th and 12th.
Westwood led by two on 15 under from Fisher, who had one left to play, with Bland another two shots further back.
