Westwood maintains advantage

Lee Westwood made a solid start to the final round of the Nordea Masters to remain three in front of his nearest challengers in Sweden.

The World Number Three from England saw Peter Hanson trim his overnight lead to two with an eagle at the long first of the Bro Hof Slott course, but restored his three stroke lead with a curling 15 footer at the third for birdie.

Hanson then bogeyed the fourth, leaving Ross Fisher second on 14 under after the Englishman birdied the second.

Sergio Garcia turned in a three under par 33 to join a five-way tie for fourth on 11 under.

Westwood dropped his first shot of the day when he three-putted the sixth from a difficult position, but he did well to hole a ten foot clutch putt at the next to save par.

On 16 under he led by two from Fisher, while Garcia holed a six footer at the 12th for his fifth birdie of the day to join Hanson in third on 13 under.
