Hideki Matsuyama and Kevin Kisner shared the lead at eight under after the rain-affected second day of the US PGA Championship.

Francesco Molinari (64, -5)
"I played very well. Obviously, I played well yesterday, too. I think it's a course where you need some luck at certain times, I think today I got the right breaks at the right time. The start was really good with two birdies. I just played well. Made some important par putts when I missed the green, managed to give myself a chance to save par. So obviously very happy with the way I played. I feel tired now. When you get the rain delays, it becomes a long day and mentally it's not easy to stay switched on for such a long time. I'm definitely looking forward to some rest."
Louis Oosthuizen (67, -5)
"Three behind going into any Major on the weekend is a great spot. Hopefully I can follow it up with two solid rounds. Sometimes when you're not playing great, it can be a great thing. But the way I was playing, I wanted to stay out there and play. But yeah, just had to get my mind good. I missed a fairway on my first tee shot on two but I got lucky with having a decent lie and I gave myself a good birdie opportunity. Missed the putt, though. You just need to try and find that momentum that you had."
Byeong-hun An (69, -2)
"I didn't have a good start to be fair. I wasn't hitting it good, off the tee as well, missed some shots here and there. But I think I held on nicely and made some good par saves and then the eagle happened. I think that was the turning point and then my shots were better and my drives were better and I think that led to a couple of birdies on the back nine. This course, if you don't drive it well, you have no chance for birdie because the greens are going to be firmer. Once you're in the rough, it's hard to get it close."
