Trophee Hassan II: Day two in numbers

After a hard-fought second day at the testing Royal Golf Dar Es Salam, europeantour.com brings you a collection of stats from the second round of the 2017 Trophee Hassan II in Morocco.

8 and 18- The par five eighth and 18th holes at Royal Golf Dar Es Salam are proving brutes this week, as the third and first hardest par fives to make birdie on so far in the 2017 season

3- All three of Gregory Havret's European Tour wins have come when leading or sharing the lead after 36 holes (2001 Italian Open, 2007 Scottish Open, 2008 Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles)

50- The Frenchman has a 50 per cent success rate when leading or sharing the lead after 36-holes having converted three of six to victory

9- Lucas Bjerregaard is nine under par for the par fives so far this week, better than anyone in the field and tied for the best par five scoring through two rounds in 2017 with Jacques Kruyswijk at the BMW SA Open. With the difficulty of the par fives in Morocco, though, Bjerregaard has gained +7.4 strokes on the field with his par five performance thus far compared to the South African's +6.3 strokes gained back in January.

12- Edoardo Molinari is 12 for 14 in scrambling so far this week - no one has got up and down more than the Italian

338 - Robert Karlsson might be 47 but he can still get it out there, recording the longest drive of the day on Friday of 338 yards

25- Benjamin Hebert has 25 holes bogey free going right now. One to watch over the weekend

-0.78 - Scoring was a lot easier on Friday with the field averaging 74.13 compared to 74.91 in the first round
