European Tour Properties, the network of world-class destinations that forms part of The European Tour group of companies, held its Spring Managers’ Conference at the prestigious PGA Catalunya Resort on March 22.
The one-day conference was attended by managers and sales and marketing professionals representing Estonian Golf and Country Club, Fleesensee Golf and Country Club (Germany), Kungsängen Golf Club (Sweden), Linna Golf (Finland), London Golf Club (England), the host club, PGA Catalunya Resort, and other invited guests, including Angel Gallardo, Vice-Chairman of The European Tour and co-designer of the Stadium and Tour Courses at the resort.
The emphasis of the conference – “Finding the Sweet Spot in the Sales and Marketing of Golf” – was covered in depth by morning presentations from three excellent speakers; Helena Woodcock from Golf Comms International, Peter Anderson from International Spa Design and Michael Simon from Hotel Reservations Service.
The afternoon saw interactive workshops, facilitated by Gary Firkins of Landmark International Ltd, to create dialogue and action points generated by the morning’s presentations.
