Top three drawn together at Doral

Race to Dubai Champion Henrik Stenson will be joined by Tiger Woods and Adam Scott for the opening two rounds of the WGC – Cadillac Championship over the Blue Monster at Trump National Doral.

The top three players in the world will get their opening round under way at 12.39pm on Thursday, just after Justin Rose, the 2012 winner, tees it up alongside Zach Johnson and Sergio Garcia.

Frenchman Victor Dubuisson, who lost in the final of the WGC – Accenture Match Play Championship a fortnight ago, makes his debut in the event alongside Englishman Luke Donald and Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama.

Former Masters Champion Charl Schwartzel and Englishman Ian Poulter will have the company of current US PGA Champion Jason Dufner at 11.22, while Rory McIlroy is in the mouth-watering grouping of Jason Day, winner in Tucson two weeks ago, and Phil Mickelson.

The final group of the day features two European Tour members, Branden Grace and Thomas Björn, alongside American Billy Horschel.

In total there are 33 European Tour Members hoping to tame the Blue Monster, including eight debutants, with Dubuisson joined by Kiradech Aphibarnrat, Jonas Blixt, Brendon de Jonge, Jin Jeong, Joost Luiten, Brett Rumford, Peter Uihlein and Dawie Van der Walt.
