Tickets now on sale for Travis Perkins Masters

The Travis Perkins Masters, one of the longest-running tournaments on the European Senior Tour, will mark its 16thanniversary when it returns to the Duke’s Course at Woburn Golf Club from September 2-4.

This year will mark Travis Perkins’ ninth consecutive edition as title sponsor, while the leading builders’ merchants also previously sponsored the Wentworth Senior Masters from 2002-2005.

Last year’s tournament will live long in the memory as defending champion Colin Montgomerie retained his title following a play-off with Ross Drummond, sealing victory with a birdie on the second additional hole.

That was the Scot’s historic third consecutive Travis Perkins Masters title – only Carl Mason has achieved a similar hat-trick, in the English Senior Open from 2004-2006 – and helped him seal back-to-back John Jacobs Trophies for topping the Order of Merit.

Fans will be hoping for similar drama later this year with the announcement that ticket sales are now open for the 2016 tournament, including hospitality packages and advance parking.

Andy Stubbs, Managing Director of the European Senior Tour, said: “We are extremely excited to be returning to Woburn in September and we look forward to the Duke’s Course providing another entertaining test for our players.

“The Travis Perkins Masters is always one of our best-attended events and is also immensely popular with our players, who always appreciate the magnificent condition of the course.

“We must thank Travis Perkins for their incredible support both of this event and the Senior Tour, with our association now in its 13thyear.

“Their sponsorship helps ensure the Travis Perkins Masters remains of one of our premium events every year and I’m sure the strength of the field this year will once again reflect that.

“We must also thank our host, His Grace, the Duke of Bedford, and we already cannot wait for September to roll around and for this tournament once again to deliver a week of memorable golfing drama.”

Hospitality packages are available at a price of £90 a day per person on Friday 2 September and Sunday 4 September, with Saturday hospitality available for £75 per person.

Advance tickets are available at reduced prices, with daily tickets £10 instead of £15 on the gate and a season ticket, allowing entry to all three days’ play, is £25 in advance or £30 on the gate.

Preferential advance parking, which guarantees a parking space in a limited area adjacent to the first fairway within an easy 250 yard walk to the first tee and also includes a free drawsheet, is available for £10 per car per day.
