Three to watch: D+D REAL Czech Challenge

Before the D+D REAL Czech Challenge gets under way, we pick out three players who could put on a performance at Kaskáda Golf Resort.

Antoine Rozner

Going for the historic European Challenge Tour treble this week, eyes will be closely watching Antoine Rozner to see if he can become the first back-to-back-to-back winner on the Challenge Tour. The Frenchman has clinched the last two Challenge Tour titles in Spain and Czech Republic and a third in Brno would seal promotion to the European Tour.

In doing so, he would become the quickest player to complete the feat and also the first player to win twice in Czech Republic in the same Challenge Tour season.

Robin Roussel

Three top tens in his three 2019 Challenge Tour starts, Robin Roussel is one to watch at the D+D REAL Czech Challenge. The Frenchman has been closing in on a maiden Challenge Tour victory each week and hopes to continue that trait in Brno.

He began the season with a tied tenth finish in Turkey before sharing seventh place in Spain. He then finished inside the top ten for a third consecutive week at the Prague Golf Challenge, ending the event in tied sixth place to move to eighth in the Challenge Tour Rankings.

If one Frenchman is continually winning, another one is consistently finishing inside the top ten. Can Roussel go even lower this week?

Nico Geyger

Nico Geyger will make his 2019 Challenge Tour debut this week, having spent the last two months at home following the birth of his second daughter. The Chilean began last season with a tied third finish in Kenya before finishing in a share of fourth in Turkey, and he will be looking to replicate that quick start when he gets his Challenge Tour campaign under way this week.

He ended 2018 by picking up rankings points in his last eight events and that consistency will be key if he is to make a strong start in a bid for a life-changing European Tour card at the end of the year.
