Tarrio claims maiden Challenge Tour victory in Czech Republic
Santiago Tarrio secured a maiden European Challenge Tour victory in the Czech Republic after an action-packed final day. The Spainiard fantastically sealed a three-way play-off between Norwegian Kristian Krogh Johannessen and Frenchman Julien Brun who birdied the 18th in dramatic style to battle it out on the final day. The 30-year-old managed to shoot a birdie on the fourth extra hole of the play-off to secure his maiden Challenge Tour victory. With the Spaniard in fine form, he will visit his home country of Spain this week to compete at the Challenge de Cadiz, and hope for more of the same from his efforts in Czech Republic.
