JC Ritchie successfully defended his Bain’s Whisky Cape Town Open title after holing a 25-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole for a one-stroke victory at Royal Cape Golf Club. The South African, who defeated countryman Jacques Blaauw in a play-off last year, retained his crown by posting a four under par round of 68 to reach 18 under par.
