The Challenge Series 2013 - Episode Ten

18 tournaments down and the Challenge Tour season is heading towards another thrilling climax. As always The Challenge Series continues to bring you all the action from the second tier of European Golf.

Episode 10 sees the players head to Northern Ireland for the inaugural staging of The Northern Ireland Open Challenge. Here we get the chance to catch up with local favourite Gareth Shaw as he prepares for the tournament in familiar surroundings.

Of course, the main goal for all our Challenge Tour competitors is a top 15 spot in the rankings and that highly coveted European Tour card; tournament ambassador Michael Hoey is on hand to give us the benefit of his experience.

From Northern Ireland we take the short trip to Northern France for the Open Blue Green Côtes d'Armor Bretagne. Famous for its stunning views and golden beaches it’s an event that the players love returning to year on year. Looking to make his mark in 2013 Finnish Challenge Champion Stuart Manley, he tells us why the decision to turn down a career in professional football turned out to be the right choice.
