Led by Francis Rossi after the recent passing of Rick Parfitt, The Quo has been a force to be reckoned with on the international music scene. Touring across the globe for the past 48 years, it is estimated the band has played over 6,000 live shows to a total audience in excess of 25 million people, and in doing so, travelled some four million miles and spent 23 years away from home.

Following the incredible success of their current Tour - The Last Night of The Electrics & AQUOSTIC – The Quo have extended their travels in 2017, with Rossi and the band ready to get the golf crowds rockin’ at Wentworth for the very first time.

“We’ve never played at a golf tournament before so we’re really excited get on stage at the BMW PGA Championship and see where we can take the show for our fans,” said Rossi. “We love the idea of combining a world-class sporting experience with a live gig to cap off a great day out!”

Having toured England for decades, playing a massive show to our fans in a completely new environment is something we are very much looking forward too.

Jamie Birkmyre, Championship Director of the BMW PGA Championship, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have The Quo as part of our line-up this year on the Show Stage and we cannot wait to see the crowd enjoying some classic anthems from this iconic English rock band.

“With our Saturday night entertainment coming from The Quo, and Sunday evening closed by Indie pop stars the Kaiser Chiefs, the BMW PGA Championship weekend is a blockbuster package with something for everyone to enjoy. The atmosphere will be electric and once again I have no doubt it will be an enjoyable week for all spectators, professional golfers, officials, and everyone associated the tournament.”

Official Hospitality packages are now available in Clubhouse, the Village Pavilion and now the Championship Pavilion, a fantastic new hospitality area which overlooks the 18th green, renowned for providing one of the best greenside views of golf anywhere in the world.
