What a week it's been for Padraig Harrington already. Seven days ago the three-time Major champion was forced to retire for the first time in his career due to a shoulder injury at Wentworth. Today, he fired a four under par course record 67 to take the lead at his home Open.
Harrington's round sparked to life on the back nine where he made birdies at 11, 12, 13 and 15 before facing this putt for birdie at the 16th. When it dropped, and the home crowd roared, the 43 year old was tied for the lead.
