Singh full of confidence after strong performance in Thailand

Jeev Milkha Singh will head to Europe full of confidence after finishing in a tie for tenth at the King’s Cup presented by PTT Group.

The 44 year old posted a one-under-par 69 on Sunday to finish the week on six under, six strokes behind winner Chan Shih-chang.

The highlight of Singh's final round was a spectacular chip-in eagle at the third, while he also carded back-to-back birdies at the 15th and 16th.

Thailand has been a happy hunting ground for Singh this year, with his best European Tour result of the season so far coming at the True Thailand Classic Presented by Chang where he finished in a share of seventh place.

After his final round, Singh, who will tee it up at the D+D REAL Czech Masters next month, said: "This is my second top-ten finish after the True Thailand Classic. I think Thailand is lucky for me.

"This result has given me lots of confidence going into Europe - Jeev Milkha Singh

"When you keep shooting under-par, especially when it’s windy out there and when you’re in the last few groups, that builds lots of confidence in a player.

"Hopefully, I’ll be back in the winner’s circle very soon."
