Despite having opened in 2004, the Fidra course at the Archerfield Links Golf Club has the feel of a much older course.
Designed by David “DJ” Russell, a former European Tour professional, this course features many elements of a woodland course as well as those commonly found on a links course.
This unique mixture of pine forest and fast running links creates a unique challenge for a golfer. The wind varies dramatically between the tree lined and open links holes, creating a yardage headache for caddies and golfers alike.
