Masters Champion Charl Schwartzel moved up 18 places to 11th in the world ranking after his stunning two-stroke victory at Augusta National.
Fifty years after Gary Player became the first international golfer to win the Masters, Schwartzel birdied the last four holes to claim the Green Jacket and his first Major title.
The stunning victory lifted him from 29th to just outside the top ten of the Official World Golf Ranking, with England’s Like Donald moving up to World Number Three after chipping in on the final hole for a share of fourth place.
Tiger Woods, who like Donald finished on ten under par, moved up to fifth while joint runner-up Adam Scott climbed back into the top 20 in 17th place from 30th and Jason Day, who birdied the last to tie with Scott, moved up from 41st to 24th.
Martin Kaymer remains World Number One ahead of Lee Westwood with Phil Mickelson in fourth ahead of Woods and Graeme McDowell and Paul Casey in sixth and seventh places in the world respectively. Rory McIlroy remains in ninth place.
