RSM and European Tour collaborate on behind-the-scenes feature series

The European Tour and Official Supporter RSM have collaborated on an all-new series of behind-the-scenes content:Inside The Tour.

RSM presents Inside the Tour - The Shepherdess

Launched this week with a profile on European Tour Player Relations Executive Emma Cabrera Bello,Inside The Tour presented by RSM is a six-part series running throughout 2018 which aims to shine a light on a number of key personalities and roles from in and around the European Tour in a bid to give golf fans a better understanding of what makes the Tour tick.

Following RSM’s successful academic player performance study completed in 2017, which identified insights into the impact of pre-shot routine and time over ball on performance, the series will look to unlock insights through characters from across the golfing spectrum.

Starting with ‘The Shepherdess’, we meet Emma Cabrera Bello, a member of the European Tour’s Player Relations team, at the recent Italian Open.

A professional golfer herself and the sister of Tour player and Ryder Cup star Rafa, we join Emma at Gardagolf where she plays a key role orchestrating the movements of our star attractions – the players.

Fluent in several languages, it is her role to ensure the golfers are in the right place at the right time, that pre-tournament commitments are met, and that they have everything and anything they could ever require.

It’s a non-stop job…

Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM recently renewed their contract with the European Tour, building on its growing relationships within golf in the UK, along with its current sponsorship of European Tour professionals Andy Sullivan, Paul Lawrie and Paul Waring.

David Gwilliam, Chief Executive Officer for RSM, said: “We have enjoyed a positive and highly productive partnership with the European Tour over the past two years and we are thrilled to continue our support throughout 2018. Our aim is to bring value to the Tour through our sponsorship while uncovering and revealing some insights on key European Tour characters.”

Keith Pelley, CEO of the European Tour, added:  “We are delighted to continue our partnership with RSM throughout 2018. We look forward to collaborating with them again and focusing their natural aptitude to understand business on the Tour and unearthing further valuable insights into our players and unsung heroes who make up our Tour.”
