Players in the ECCO Tour Challenge presented by Thomas Björn and Mercedes Benz will have an added incentive this week, with a place in the field for next week’s limited field Rolex Trophy also available.

The leading 37 players on the European Challenge Tour Rankings have all secured a spot in the field for next week’s 42-player event at Golf Club de Genève, Switzerland, where they will be joined by the leading Swiss player within the top 100 on the Rankings, currently André Bossert, and one invite.

There will be three spots available for the top three players on the Challenge Tour Rankings otherwise not exempt at the conclusion of the ECCO Tour Challenge presented by Thomas Björn and Mercedes Benz.

Currently those positions are occupied by Austrian Florian Praegant, Argentine Daniel Vancsik and Swede Bjorn Akesson but a strong performance in Denmark would see those further down the Rankings move into those positions and secure a place in the Rolex Trophy.

Among those hoping to achieve that is Dane Lasse Jensen, currently 55thon the Challenge Tour Rankings, who is looking for a good showing on home soil this week.
