• His first European Tour International Schedule victory in his 37th European Tour event.

• His victory beats his previous best European Tour performance of third in the 2013 BMW International Open.

• Becomes the sixth first-time winner of the 2014 season. They are: Morten Ørum Madsen (South African Open Championship hosted by the City of Ekurhuleni), George Coetzee (Joburg Open), Jason Day (WGC – Accenture Match Play Championship), Patrick Reed (WGC – Cadillac Championship), Marco Crespi (NH Collection Open) and Alexander Levy (Volvo China Open).

• His victory comes in his first appearance in the Volvo China Open.

• Becomes the first Frenchman to win the Volvo China Open.

• Becomes the 20th different winner of the Volvo China Open in the 20 years the event has been played.

• France becomes the 14th different country to win the Volvo China Open.

• Becomes the ninth player this season to win after leading after 54 holes.

• Led going into the final round of a European Tour event first for the first time.

• Becomes the first French winner on the 2014 European Tour season.

• First French winner on The European Tour since Victor Dubuisson at the 2013 Turkish Airlines Open presented by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

• Becomes the 19th different winner from the 19 different events played this season.

• The second 23 year old to win this season, aged 23 years and 270 days. (Patrick Reed was 23 years and 216 days when he won the WGC – Cadillac Championship).

• Aged 23 years and 270 days is the second youngest French player to win in European Tour history. José-Filipe Lima was 22 when he won the 2004 Aa St Omer Open. (Lima was playing for France when he won).

• Becomes the 337th European Tour victory by a former Challenge Tour player.

• Becomes the 134th former Challenge Tour player to win on The European Tour.
