A record total of 93,404 spectators contributed to the success of the BMW PGA Championship 2011.
Sunday’s crowd of 25,236 was slightly up on the corresponding 2010 figure of 25,117, with the overall figure almost 5,000 up on last year’s total of 88,623.
The Friday figure of 25,472 is the largest single day crowd ever assembled at Wentworth Club.
