Rahm channels Seve at Valderrama

Real Club Valderrama will forever be associated with the great Seve Ballesteros and during the the final round of the Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters hosted by the Sergio Garcia Foundation his presence was felt again in Sotogrande.

From his redesign of the 17th to his victorious captaincy at the 1997 Ryder Cup, the late Spaniard's connections run deep with the famous layout.

Ballesteros was the original trailblazer for Spanish golf and on Sunday his countryman Jon Rahm produced a shot the five time Major Championship winner would have been proud of.

In the trees down the left at the ninth, Rahm needed some inspiration to make a birdie and keep the pressure on Christiaan Bezuidenhout.

He found it.
