Q. When did you first pick up a club?
A. In 1991, at home in Brownstown, Indiana. My Dad introduced me to the game when I was growing up, as he was a keen golfer.

Q. At what age did you first start taking golf seriously?
A. It had been a dream of mine for many years to become a professional golfer, but it probably wasn’t until I went to college at Iowa State that I really realised I could make a career out of playing golf.

Q. What do you remember of your first pro tournament?
A. It was the Indiana State Open. I played really well for the first two days and had a great chance of winning, but then a poor third round put pay to my chances. It was then that I realised professional golf was going to be a real challenge!

Q. What has been your best achievement in golf?
A. Winning the Moroccan Golf Classic on the Challenge Tour.

Q. Who are you coached by?
A. Tim Cooke, who is the head coach at Long Cove Club on Hilton Head Island, in South Carolina.

Q. Who is your golfing hero?
A. Payne Stewart.

Q. Any other heroes away from golf?
A. Lance Armstrong.

Q. How do you relax away from the course?
A. By going fishing, going to the gym, or travelling.
